Cliff Smithers is taking over as PD and morning host at Classic Hits WRQN-FM in Toledo. Smithers is heading home. He started his radio career with Cumulus in Toledo, where he was on the air for 21 years from 1989 through 2010, hosting shows on WTOD-AM 1560, WRQN-FM, and on K100 (WKKO). He’s also worked at WIOG in Saginaw, WGRV in Detroit, and CBS Radio-Detroit’s WOMC and WYCD.
