The Current has the details about public radio’s Car Talk, which is now airing as “best of” on 654 stations. That will end September 30, 2017. You may recall that Car Talk actually ended production of new episodes in 2012 when car-mechanic brothers Tom and Ray Magliozzi retired. They actually started the show in 1977. Tom Magliozzi’s died in 2014 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease.
