The two stations (KMTT and KFXX respectively) have agreed to a multi-year affiliation agreement with the Washington State-IMG Sports Network. Cougar game-day broadcasts will now be broadcast on 910 ESPN-Portland for that city, with select games also airing on 1080 The Fan.
Entercom Portland General Manager Tim McNamara said, “We are thrilled to bring WSU Football to Portland. I had the past privilege of working with WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos, and know he is taking the Cougars to the proverbial next level. Cougar alumni – tune in!”
“We are very excited to enter into a partnership with 910 ESPN-Portland and 1080 The FAN,” said Washington State-IMG Sports Network General Manager Matt Almond. “It’s a priority for us to be able to deliver for Coug fans everywhere, and the Portland and Vancouver area is a market loaded with passionate Coug fans.”
