New Mexico State University Athletics has a new radio flagship, thanks to an agreement with Learfield’s NM State Sports Properties. Bravo Mic Communications’ KXPZ-FM 99.5, “Zia Country,” will carry the Aggies’ football and men’s basketball games, and coaches’ shows, through 2021. Aggies Hall of fame play-by-play announcer, Jack Nixon, will continue to call the football and men’s basketball games for the 37th year.

New Mexico State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia said, “We recognize the importance of extending the New Mexico State athletics brand to our radio listeners with a respected, quality station leader, and we’re excited to be partnering with Bravo Mic Communications to provide exceptional coverage for our fans.”

“We are especially excited to be adding KXPZ-FM 99.5 to the New Mexico State Sports Network,” said NM State Sports Properties General Manager Chris Lahey. “This partnership provides extensive coverage and the highest-quality broadcasts to Aggie fans throughout Southern New Mexico.”
