Senator Makes Huge Radio Buy In Ohio

1

Good news for radio stations in Southeast Ohio. The coal industry is a big deal in that part of the country and Senator Rob Portman (a Republican) is placing a boatload of negative radio ads against his opponent, Democrat Ted Strickland.

The radio ad now airing quotes newspaper editorials criticizing Strickland for being “a staunch supporter of Obama’s war on coal” and “abandoning Southeast Ohio.” Cleveland.com has the details and the commercial if you’d like to give it a listen.

  1. And so it begins. I remember the last election in Texas. The Republican’s ads that tell you why NOT to vote for the other guy, but never tell you why you should vote FOR someone. All they do is fling shit, so, I consider them to be no better than chimpanzees, who also fling shit. I want to know what you are going to do to make the country better, but all you you do is demean your opponent, which tells me you’ve got nothing positive whatsoever.
