Capitol Broadcasting Radio has something new for sports fans: streaming video of its North Carolina sports shows. Ten hours of daily program delivered via website and app. 99.9 The Fan (WCMC-FM) and Buzz Sports Radio (WDNC-AM, W257CS Morrisville 99.3FM, W243DK Durham 96.5FM) will now allow listeners and users to watch their local sports shows via WRALsportsfan.com and the WRALsportsfan App. Shows that will stream live video weekdays starting Thursday, June 9 will be Buzz Sports Radio’s The Morning Show w/Mike, Lauren & Demetri from 6-10 a.m.; The Sports Shop w/Reese & Kmac from 10 a.m.-12 Noon; and 99.9 The Fan’s Adam & Joe from 3-7 p.m.
Operations Manager/Program Director Dennis Glasgow says, “This is just another fantastic opportunity for our listeners and users to consume sports radio in Raleigh. People have been able to listen via the Web to our local shows for years, but there are only a handful of stations that can offer the ability to watch their local programming, and we’re proud to bring that as another option to our loyal audience.”
