Veteran Arkansas broadcaster Bobby Caldwell adds a trio of stations to his Russellville, Arkansas, group. Caldwell is purchasing KARV-AM & FM and KYEL-FM from Kermit and Diane Womack of Springdale, Arkansas. The sale price is $800K.
Caldwell owns six other stations in that market and 19 stations, total, in Arkansas. Kermit Womack also owns KURM-AM/FM in Springdale, Arkansas. Bill Cate of Media Services Group’s Little Rock office was the exclusive broker of this transaction.
