NPR Expects Podcasting Revenue To Double

AdWeek has the details from Bryan Moffett, GM of National Public Media, NPR’s corporate underwriting division, who says NPR will double its podcasting revenue in 2016. It tripled in 2015. “We’ve been seeing really great growth over the past three or four years. I think we’re 10 times where we were three years ago. The growth has been great, and the evolution has been steady for the past 10 years, but I’m preparing for the hockey stick right now.” Of course when you have shows like Serial and The American Life on your roster, it’s no wonder company’s like Wells Fargo and other big brands sign on.
