Merle Haggard lives on. This Memorial Day weekend The Country Oldies Show will be honoring the life and legacy of legendary musician Merle Haggard, and over 100 stations around the country will be carrying the broadcast. The weekly radio show, hosted by veteran personality Steve Warren, will feature Haggard’s biggest hits along with stories and memories of his life.
Started in 1994, The Country Oldies Show is America’s longest-running weekly radio program, featuring three hours of the greatest country hits from the 1950s to the 1990s. Host Steve Warren has been a radio personality, program director, and radio consultant for over 50 years at legendary radio stations, including WIRE Indianapolis; WPTR, Albany; KKYX, San Antonio; and WHN, WKHK, WYNY in New York.
