Beasley Media Group confirmed Tuesday that Jeff Zito is moving up the Gulf Coast from his position as Program Director at Fort Myers station WRXK/K-ROCK to begin his new PD role at Tampa’s WBRN/98.7 NO RULES ROCK. He will start working as WBRN’s Program Director, on Monday, June 20. Zito launched his career in 1996, working at several radio stations before he landed in Ft. Myers where he hosted mornings at WJBX as half of the Zito and Garrett show. He subsequently moved over to sister station (hot talk) WRXK.
“Jeff Zito is a perfect fit for 98.7 No Rules Rock,” said Beasley’s Tampa Operations Manager Tee Gentry. “He has proven himself as a winning PD at 96 K-ROCK with Beasley in Ft Myers and we are excited to have him here in Tampa Bay.”
