“World Chart Show” Gets A Savage Makeover

Radio Express announced that radio personality Mike Savage will host the next generation of its successful two-hour international hit countdown program The World Chart Show, which Radio Express is making available to U.S. radio stations and audiences for the first time. The World Chart Show showcases global artists that are featured each week on Radio Express’ The World Chart, created by researching over 100 international charts. The show re-launches on May 7. The World Chart Show has aired in over 130 countries and on over 550 radio stations around the world since its debut 20 years ago.

Barbara Rounds, President and Chief Executive Officer for Radio Express, said: “We are extremely happy to welcome Mike Savage as host of The World Chart Show. He is a team player, a music fanatic with great relationships within the artist/label communities in the U.S. and abroad, and he’ll incorporate a whole new digital persona to the show’s offering, including A World Chart Show app featuring a Stories Behind the Hits podcast, robust social media activity, and of course the actual World Chart.”

Savage has been on-air talent and Music Director at successful radio stations in major U.S. markets including New York (X-107), Los Angeles (Y-107 & Indie 103.1) and San Diego (KFSD 92.1).
