Sanders Keeping Radio Happy

3

Although it appears he has little chance to become the Democratic nominee for President, radio stations around the country are happy Bernie Sanders is still in the race. According to Media Monitors, Sanders aired over 4,500 radio spots between April 15 and April 24 (he also ran over 8,500 TV ads). How did all the other candidates use radio?

Coming in 2nd was Hillary Clinton with her campaign airing 1,510 spots and the American Federation of Teachers Solidarity (AFT) adding 80, bringing her total to 1,590 ads. Clinton ran 5,500 TV ads. Donald Trump For President ran 745 radio spots, compared to 823 TV ads. Ted Cruz For President, his campaign, placed 249 radio commercials, while the Club For Growth Action added 47. The Keep the Promise I bought 44 spots for Cruz and the Trusted Leadership PAC also ran 105 spots, bringing his total to 445 spots. Cruz ran a total of 796 TV ads.

  1. If Bernie and The Donald were raising a kid, 40 years from now – I’d vote for that kid.
Of course, I would also have to be an American. 🙂
In the meantime I have to deal with a crazed progressive Prime Minister (Justin “The Show Pony” Trudeau) who makes Bernie look like a reasoned centrist. So, I’m kinda busy.

  2. The author wrote IT APPEARS he has little chance, which I for one at least would consider a fair and accurate assessment.

  3. Why would you offer an opinion as fact in the lead sentence in your article? Do you not know the very basic rules of journalism? Or do you not understand the difference between “news” and “opinion”.

For your information, Bernie Sanders has an excellent chance to win the Democratic nomination, either by winning more delegates than Clinton, by Clinton being indicted for violating the Fedgov’s rules on handling classified info, by her health, which reportedly isn’t good, or by the quid pro quo of her accepting money through the Clinton Foundation when at the same time approving deals for arms sales. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated $10 Million, and Boeing donated $900K in just such a scenario.

Now perhaps you understand what news story content should be. You’re welcome.
