Dr. Drew Pinsky announced on the Kevin & Bean Show (KROQ Los Angeles) that there will be no more Loveline. Pinsky hosted the 10 p.m. to midnight show for 30 years. He says he wants to focus on other projects.

Pinsky appears on HLN, Dr. Drew Midday Live with Mike Catherwood on 790-KABC in L.A., and the Adam and Dr. Drew podcast. Loveline was syndicated by Westwood One and the Loveline website lists about 50 stations across the country as affiliates. Loveline‘s last show will be Friday, April 29, 2016 with “Best of” shows continuing to air through Friday, May 13, 2016.

Pinsky issued the following statement: “I am not leaving radio. The Loveline brand is still strong and perhaps we will bring it back some day. But for now, this version is ending and I will be focusing on all of my other projects. It has been a privilege to have served the listeners and share deeply in personal stories. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity.”
