Rick Martinez has been appointed to the newly created position of Vice President of News and Information Programming for Curtis Media. Martinez rejoins Curtis from the staff of Governor Pat McCrory where he was Deputy Communications Director.
Before getting into politics, Martinez was News Director for Curtis’ WPTF. Martinez will supervise and develop content for Curtis’ broadcast and digital platforms including the North Carolina News Network, which is comprised of 81 stations across the state, WPTF, Triangle Traffic Network, and Southern Farm Network.
