Alex Lucas, host of Entravision’s syndicated morning show, El Show de Alex ‘El Genio’ Lucas, will be awarded Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Hispanic Radio Person of the Year during Momentum, the charity’s annual Network-wide event. The award honors a U.S. Latino radio station staff member who has gone above and beyond in supporting CMN.
Lucas’s radio show helped bring in large donations for member CMN Hospitals during Entravision’s eighth annual network-wide radiothon. In 2015, Entravision raised approximately $2.9 million, benefiting 95 communities nationwide through outreach across the company’s digital, TV, and radio assets.
The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, February 24. Momentum is a three-day event held February 24 through February 26, 2016.
