As we gear up for our 7th annual Hispanic Radio Conference in Ft. Lauderdale next month, our friends at BIA/Kelsey have shared some great stats on the revenue-generating markets for Hispanic radio. Texas and California are huge revenue generators for this radio format. Here’s how the two states stack up…

Of all the radio revenue generated in Laredo, Texas, over 71% of it comes from Hispanic radio. In McAllen-Brownsville, Texas, nearly 56% of all radio revenue goes to Hispanic stations. And, in El Paso, over 37% of all radio revenue in that market is dedicated to Hispanic.

Bakersfield, CA, is next at 34%, followed by Merced, CA (32.4%), Fresno (28.1%), San Antonio (25.3%), Corpus Christi (18.5%), and Visalia-Tulare-Hanford, CA (15.8%). Do you want more Hispanic radio advertising revenue in your market? Then you must attend the 7th annual Radio Ink Hispanic Radio conference in Fort Lauderdale March 22 and 23.
