CMG Dumps Alternative For Hispanic In Orlando

0

The popularity of Hispanic-focused radio continues to grow and the field in Orlando just became more crowded. The new station, on a translator, launched by Cox Media Group Orlando, Monday, is called “107.3 Solo Éxitos,” targeting Hispanic adults 25-54

There are two other Hispanic stations in the Orlando market. iHeart’s Rumba 100.3 (WRUM) and Entravision’s Salsa 98.1 (WNUE). The 107.3 frequency was previously occupied by X107.3 Orlando’s alternative station. The entry into the Hispanic format is the first for CMG.

And on the topic of programming Hispanic Radio Stations. Don’t forget to attend our session on finding great talent at the 2016 Radio Ink Hispanic Radio Conference next month in Fort Lauderdale. This panel featuring José Santos, President/Founder, Santos Latin Media Founder Jose’ Santos, SMS Miami Program Supervisor Johnny Caride and Global media’s Harold Austin takes place March 22 at 4:40PM.
