The Philadelphia Phillies and SportsRadio 94WIP have extended their broadcast partnership for play-by-play of Phillies pre-season, regular season and post-season games. The new deal keeps all games on the FM dial. In a contract signed yesterday, it was stipulated that games would air only on WIP (94.1 FM). In the last few years, Phillies games were heard on ‘both WIP and WPHT (1210 AM).

The new agreement begins this month with live coverage of the team’s spring training games from Clearwater.

Scott Franzke, Larry Andersen and Jim Jackson will provide commentary of the games on SportsRadio 94WIP. The station will continue to broadcast “Leading Off,” a half-hour pregame show that is broadcast prior to Phillies coverage. “The Final Out,” a half-hour postgame show, will be broadcast immediately after Phillies coverage during the season. SportsRadio 94WIP will host regular broadcasts from the NovaCare Broadcast Booth, a permanent radio studio built on the concourse within Citizens Bank Park.
