Macy’s Holds On To Number One



In the weekly Media Monitors spot count, Macy’s continued to use radio to push customers to their locations during the Christmas holiday. Holding on to the number one spot for the second week in a row, Macy’s ran over 54,000 commercials on radio stations across the country. GEICO held on to the number two spot (44,790) with JC Penney moving up from number five to number three (37,063) followed by Walgreens and the US Department of Transportation to promote safe driving during the holidays (27,151).
