John Balyo, who is serving 40 years in prison, for sexually abusing a child, had his sentence reduced by two years for turning on a former friend, who also had a perverted sexual interest in children, and cooperating with authorities. Balyo was arrested in June 20 of 2014 and wound up pleading guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography. For eight years, Balyo worked at Christian station WCSG in Grand Rapids. Once he’s released he’ll be supervised for the rest of his life.
