Kelly is radio's point person at Nielsen after the O'Grady departure. Kelly came over to Nielsen when the company purchased Arbitron. He was the VP of National Group Sales at Arbitron from 2005 to 2007. One of his major career highlights, according to his LinkdIn page, is the negotiation of PPM contracts with radio's largest groups.

The WPRO Providence website carried the following statement about the death of Buddy Cianci. “It is with profound sadness that the WPRO-AM and Cumulus Providence family acknowledges the passing of Buddy Cianci, a dynamic force on our airwaves all over Southern New England for the past nearly nine years."

Tommy Mattern (pictured) has been named Operations Manager responsible for overseeing programming at KFTK, KSHE, KNOU, and KPNT. Since joining Emmis in 1996, he has programmed six different stations for Emmis. In addition, Kyle Guderian has been named Director of Marketing and Events.

Greater Media announced Thursday that Ellen Rubin has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Rubin joined Greater Media as General Counsel in June 2003. She was promoted to Vice President and General Counsel in February of 2007.

Rob Cressman is the new Program Director for Hubbard's rocker WDRV-FM in Chicago. Cressman joins Hubbard from iHeartMedia in Indianapolis. He replaces Curtis Johnson who left the station earlier this month.

Matt Moscona's After Further Review PM drive show which airs on Guaranty broadcasting's 104.5/104.9 ESPN in Baton Rouge (WNXX/KNXX) will also now be heard on 100.3 ESPN in New Orleans (KLRZ). Moscona has been named to Radio Ink magazine’s Top Local Sports Talkers’ List in three of the last four years.

New York City’s 77 WABC Radio has announced the addition of The Frommer Travel Show to its weekly line-up of locally produced weekend talk shows. The show debuts Saturday, January 30, from 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Pepper (pictured here), Music Director and Midday host at Entercom's 107.7 The End in Seattle is leaving the station for a digital opportunity outside of the industry. Her last day is Friday, February 19th.

JVC Media of Florida announces the addition of Gainesville radio legend “Leroy the Love Toy” for mornings on Classic Hits WYGC (104.9 WOW FM) starting Monday February 2 from 6 a.m.-10a.m.

77 WABC debuted its newest talk radio show, The Bernie and Sid Show, Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m ET. The new show brings together talk radio hosts - Imus producer Bernard McGuirk and former WFAN host Sid Rosenberg.
