The Rat and Puff Show – AMP Radio (WDZH-FM) – has a new producer. The popular morning show, which airs weekdays 5-10 a.m., has brought in Justin Scheman, who has worked for a number of morning shows around the country.

Emily Boldon has taken over as PD of Cumulus' Lite Rocker WWLI-FM in Providence. Boldon will continue in her position as VP for AC and Stratus Music Programming. She replaces Brian Demay who left for Cincinnati earlier this year to program Cumulus' AC station in that city WRRM-FM.

Tanner Kloven is moved into the afternoon drive slot on CBS Radio Dallas-Fort Worth’s 103.7 (KVIL-FM). Kloven, who previously hosted nights for the station, joined the station in April.

Coast to Coast AM with George Noory will provide five hours of special election night coverage, Tuesday, broadcasting live from 10 p.m. – 3 a.m. PT. Noory will provide real-time results as the returns come in from each state, as well as reactions and discussions with guests.

The student-run radio station of Seton Hall University recently took home two awards from the College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards program. The station won first place honors in the Best Radio Sportscast category for its broadcast of the Seton Hall men’s basketball Big East Championship game against Villanova.

The event was recently held at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Actors Jonathan Banks, Steve Buscemi, Gary Cole, Conchata Ferrell, Dan Hedaya and Stephen Tobolowsky were named recipients. Named in honor of the late actor Art Carney, the Carney Awards were created by Elvis Duran Group CEO David Katz, his brother Jim Katz and Art's son Brian Carney. 97.6 FM KOYE (La Invasora) Program Director, Juan Martin Ovalle was honored as Professional of the Year at the 9th Annual Hispanic Business Achievers Awards on October 26. The annual award recognizes Hispanic-owned businesses and professionals that have been successful in their respective industries.

The former RAB SVP of training and long-time Nebraska broadcaster died last week after suffering a major stroke a year ago. Dodson was 74. There will be no funeral, but a celebration of life Tuesday. Dodson got his first radio job when he was 15 at KNCY in Nebraska City.
