iHeart's '80s Til' Now station in Detroit, WNIC-FM, have added Allyson Martinek as co-host on the Jay Towers In The Morning Show. Previously, Martinek served as the morning personality for 96.3 WDVD in Detroit.

WSOU Wins Two National Pinnacle Awards

The student-run radio station of Seton Hall University recently took home two awards from the College Media Association’s Pinnacle Awards program. The station won first place honors in the Best Radio Sportscast category for its broadcast of the Seton Hall men’s basketball Big East Championship game against Villanova.

Elvis Duran’s 2nd Annual Carney Awards Held in L.A.

The event was recently held at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Actors Jonathan Banks, Steve Buscemi, Gary Cole, Conchata Ferrell, Dan Hedaya and Stephen Tobolowsky were named recipients. Named in honor of the late actor Art Carney, the Carney Awards were created by Elvis Duran Group CEO David Katz, his brother Jim Katz and Art's son Brian Carney.
