Cumulus is moving Mike Bell over to Hip Hop station WEAS-FM in Savannah as the new PD. Bell was PD for Cumulus' mainstream Urban station WYNN-FM in Florence, SC. Prior to joining Cumulus, Bell was on the air and an APD in Tyler, TX, and Madison, WI.

WEEI's Kirk & Callahan morning show were invited by Press Secretary Sean Spicer to attend President Trump's reception for the five-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. Cumulus promotes John Shomby to PD at NASH FM (WKDF) in Nashville, taking over that position from Charlie Cook. He keeps his NASH Director of Programming position he has held with Cumulus Media for the past year-and-a-half. Cook continues as VP/Country for Cumulus, as well as the VP of Operations for Cumulus Nashville with oversight of WKDF, and as the PD NASH ICON (WSM-FM).

Todd Feinburg is taking over afternoons at CBS Radio's News/Talk station WTIC-AM in Hartford. He'll focus on local issues, topics of the day, politics and more, and replaces Joe D and Gresh, which was a sports show.

The former Motley Crue bassist continues his rise in the radio world. His Side Show franchise has just reached 100 affiliates with the addition of WKBU Bayou 95.7 in New Orleans. Effective April 28, The Side Show Classic with Nikki Sixx will join the station’s Friday evening lineup in the 10 p.m. to midnight timeslot.

As of Monday Hubbard Radio in Seattle will begin airing The Billy Madison Show on ROCK 98.9 KVRQ, according to Market Manager Mark Kaye. “Billy had me at hello. The first time I met Billy, Derek and Nard, I knew the Billy Madison Show was going to be a part of Rock 98.9 and a huge part indeed.”

Radio One's Chief Administration Officer Linda Vilardo has let the company know she will be leaving the at the end of 2017. In a short company press release, Vilardo said, “I’ve been working non-stop for many years, and I’m looking forward to taking a break and seeing what the future holds.”

Matty Staudt is the new Digital PD for iHeartMedia San Francisco. Staudt will oversee digital strategy for iHeartMedia’s six San Francisco stations, which includes all digital platforms, on-air personality websites, mobile, and social media. Staudt worked at Stitcher and as Executive Producer, WNEW in New York and KLLC in San Francisco.

Russell Rush has been promoted from APD to PD for iHeartMedia's Mix 96.1 in San Antonio. He keeps his midday shift on the station. Rush has been with iHeartMedia since 2005. He also hosts a weekly public affairs show that airs on all seven iHeart stations in San Antonio.

Brittany Tully has taken up the PD reins for the iHeart Country station as of April 17. Tully will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of 101.5 WYNK-FM, which boasts a lineup that includes The Bobby Bones Show and Baton Rouge on-air personality Austin James.
