Rich Berra, nationally syndicated host of The Johnjay & Rich Show, is releasing The Tale of Christmas Steve, a holiday children’s book. The 32-page hardcover book is available for purchase at www.ChristmasSteve.org and on Amazon. Proceeds benefit the Johnjay and Rich Christmas Wish program.

Today should be an interesting day for CBS Radio Boston's Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti with a lot of extra tune-in. The hosts are being criticized by quite a few print publications after blaming former MLB pitcher Roy Halladay for his own death.

Former WFAN host Craig Carton plead not guilty yesterday to fraud charges and told reporters outside a Manhattan courthouse he is "unequivocally not guilty." The 48-year old said he was "shocked when I was arrested and even more surprised that the government was accusing me of running a complete sham as they put it."

It’s a new multiyear deal for veteran afternoon host John Hancock who was recently inducted to the WBT Hall of Fame. The John Hancock Show will continue to air on News 1110AM and 99.3FM WBT from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Hancock began his career at WBT in 1990.

Suzette Rodriguez has been named a new co-host on The Johnjay & Rich Show. Based in Phoenix at iHeartMedia’s 104.7 KISS FM, Rodriguez joins hosts Johnjay, Rich, and Kyle as they entertain listeners nationwide with their blend of pop culture, news, and events.

The syndicated morning show will join the American Forces Network, effective Monday, November 13, on AFN Radio’s alternative music channel, Freedom Radio. The show, which broadcasts from iHeartMedia’s Alt 98.7 in Los Angeles, will be available to more than 375,000 American service men and women.

It’s a 28-hour broadcast from the Guys in Greenville as they go in to bat for Toys for Tots at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Thursday, November 9 at 6 a.m., through Friday, November 10 at 10 a.m. It’s the 14th year that Mattman, Nine, Paige, FatBoy ,and Jeff Lewis Neal have held the toy-drive radiothon.

Spanish Broadcasting System has named Elisa Torres (pictured left) as EVP, Aire Radio Networks and National Radio Sales, and Michelle Marino, SVP, Aire Radio Networks and National Radio Sales, effective immediately.

Broadcast tech company The Telos Alliance—announced today that it has appointed Paul Kriegler as Omnia US Sales Manager, Radio Processing. Telos is the parent company of Omnia. Kriegler has more than 25 years of broadcast management and programming experience, most recently as Operations Manager for Lotus Radio Corporation in Reno.
