Kim Martinez is the new Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Entercom Portland. Martinez is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. Prior to her role as Vice President of Digital Sales, Martinez helped launch SmartReach Digital in 2014 for Entercom.

The audio branding and jingles outfit has added Dave Bethell, Creative Director/New Business Development and Chris Stevens, VP, Affiliate Management. 

Steve Finateri has been promoted to Market Manager for Cumulus Detroit and its group of four radio stations. Finateri, a Detroit radio professional for over 30 years, rises from D.O.S. at WJR, a position he has held since 2011. He replaces Tom O'Brien who retired at the end of 2018.

Jenkins will join host Ty Bentli, Chuck Wicks, and the team in mid-February. She heads to Nashville from Minneapolis where she was midday personality and Music Director at KMNB-FM, and fill-in personality at K102/KEEY-FM.

WGN Radio in Chicago has promoted Kim Gordon to anchor the weekday afternoon drive news.

Jon Zellner has been named President of Programming Operations for iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group. Zellner will report to Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeart.

Jeff Rovinsky has been named Market President for iHeart’s Akron and Canton markets, and Matt Razzante has been named General Sales Manager for the Cleveland, Akron, and Canton markets.

Veteran hosts Greg Dwyer and Bill Michaels have signed multi-year renewals to host their top-rated Dwyer & Michaels morning show on Classic Rock 97X (WXLP-FM 97.1) in Quad Cities, IA. The agreement will keep the popular duo in place through 2023.

Minnesota Public Radio 89.3 (KCMP/Minneapolis-St. Paul) The Current has promoted Music Director David Safar to the new role of Head of Music, Artist and Label Relations. Safar has been with the station 12 years.

The station announced that Dave Durian died early Monday. The 72-year-old was at his home in Baltimore and suffered a stroke. He had also been diagnosed with lung cancer.
