Tampa Bay’s Sports Radio WDAE is mourning the loss of Steve “The Big Dog” Duemig who passed away Thursday at the age of 65. Duemig was a Tampa Bay radio staple for nearly three decades at WFNS from 1991-1996 and WDAE from 1996 through his final show in February.

Sean McDowell will be hanging up the headphones on July 31st after forty-one years in radio and twenty six with WDVE. The rock station is owned by iHeartMedia in Pittsburgh. McDowell started his career with WYDD New Kensington. 

Marketron Gets A New CEO

Marketron has hired Jim Howard as its new Chief Executive Officer. Howard replaces Micael Collins who held the position for a little more than a year. Howard was an operating partner for Diversis Capital, the private equity firm which acquired Marketron in 2018.

WORC Gives Three Broadcasters A Lift
