WPGC Gets New PD
Jay Hicks has been appointed Program Director for Entercom’s Rhythmic Hits station WPGC 95.5 FM (WPGC-FM) in Washington, DC. Hicks joins Entercom from Buffalo where he served as Brand Manager for WBLK-FM and WBUF-FM.
WXTU Is Taking It To The Maxx
Charlie Maxx has been named the new nighttime personality, 7p.m.-12midnight, on WXTU-FM in Philadelphia. Maxx most recently served on the prep+ affiliate relations team at ReelWorld and worked weekends on the air at WXTU.
Kelso Moving Up Fast
Hubbard Radio Chicago has added Rachel Kelso to 97-1 FM, to assume the newly created role of Associate Producer with The Sherman & Tingle Show. Kelso graduated college in 2018.
Pacific Gets a New GM
Pacific Media Group has promoted Sherri Hamamura Grimes to Vice President and General Manager of its Maui Radio Operations. Grimes replaces Pamela Tsutsui who retired in 2018. Grimes most recently served as the company's director of promotions.
Wier Replaces Blue On The KLB Morning Show
Beasley Media Group's country station WKLB in Boston has added Jonathan Wier as co-host of its morning show starting today. Wier joins Ayla Brown (pictured here). Jackson Blue will move from doing mornings to hosting the afternoon drive.
Mike Kennedy Joins Entercom
Mike Kennedy is the new PD and Operations Manager at Entercom's 106.5 The Wolf (WDAF-FM) and 99.7 The Point (KZPT-FM) in Kansas City. Kennedy has 30 years experience in Kansas City, including KBEQ-FM from 2002 to 2017.
Coleman Extends Deal, Expands Duties
Milwaukee Hip-Hop station V100.7 has extended its deal with midday host Bailey Coleman, through 2022. In addition, Coleman will serve as Urban Program Director for the Western Great Lakes Region.

John E. Kage is the new PD for 106.7 The Bull in Denver. He will also continue in his role as PD for 95.7 The Party. Before joining the iHeartMedia Denver, Kage served as the PD for KYGO-FM and KQKS in Denver.
