Bryan Broadcasting’s GM Ben Downs became a 2019 Texas Hall of Fame inductee, on his birthday, over the weekend. Twenty Bryan Broadcasting employees boarded a bus from Bryan/College station and made the trek to see their boss honored.

Georgia HOF President Resigns

John Long is not only the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame President, he is also one of its co-founders. But Long has announced he is resigning effective April 1, 2020. Long and Sam Hale founded the nonprofit in 2007.

Former Station GM Dies In Car Crash

Paul Palmer was the onetime GM of KFMB/San Diego. He was involved in a multi-car collision on Monday, October 28 and died at the scene, according to the Del Mar Times. He was 76.

103.5 KISS FM/Chicago has named JRDN night host. An Upstate New York native, JRND most recently served as overnight and fill-in host on 103.5 KISS FM. Prior to joining iHeartMedia Chicago four years ago, JRDN was a songwriter and rapper.
