The Chicagoland Radio & Media Blog has the details about the firing of the Hall-of-Famer. The story includes the statement from the station: “US99.5 wishes Ramblin’ Ray Stevens and Lisa Dent all the best. There are exciting plans in the works that will keep Chicago waking up every day with the most popular Country music station in the market. US99.5 looks forward to sharing its plans with all of Chicagoland in the coming weeks.”

Where did Lisa go?
Has Lisa found another radio gig. yet? Please let us know. Thanx!
I miss lisa & ray in the morning, still haven’t found a station I want to listen to. Don’t care for the people on us99.5. This is the 2nd time I’ve had a favorite radio station & they got rid of the star of the show. I just play my own country CD’s. Would like to know where I can here them on the radio, just to hear their voices. Also Ray was so sorry to hear about your Dad, my deepest condolences.
wonder how many listeners moved over to big 95, at least for the morning drive? i know i did.
I miss lisa n ray on the morning show..they were great..they brought so many listeners to the station…i miss them…
