In a newly created position, Tim Sabean has been hired by Westwood One as SVP of Digital Content. Sabean was SVP for the Howard Stern Channels for 10 years before leaving 2 years ago. Sabean’s radio career includes managing both AM and FM rock, oldies, news/talk, and sports formats. As VP, Rock Programming at Infinity Broadcasting, Sabean supervised programming for WYSP-FM/Philadelphia, WBCN-FM/Boston, WRKZ-FM/Pittsburgh, KUFO-FM/Portland, KRSX-FM/San Antonio, WAZU-FM/Columbus, and WXRK-FM/New York.
Sabean will be responsible for talent discovery, content partnership development, and audience growth strategies to engage listenership and drive monetization, particularly in the podcast space.

Sabean will be based in New York City, reporting directly to Suzanne Grimes, EVP Corporate Marketing, Cumulus Media and President, Westwood One.
