
This is something radio stations in Chicago have become known for…coming together to use the success of advertisers to promote the power of radio. It’s still very surprising that more cities around the country do not follow their lead. More than 40 Chicago stations will simultaneously air a 60-second interview with Bob Rohrman, President and COO of Bob Rohrman Auto Group, discussing how radio is a primary advertising avenue to reach his customers. The interview will air on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 4:29 p.m.
Rohrman said, “Radio is my biggest advertising expenditure and it works. Everybody listens to radio, especially in the car, which makes for a great ride.” Rohrman credits radio with much of his auto group’s 40 years of success. He describes himself as a “radio guy,” and is best known for his famous “There is only one Bob Rooohhhrrr-man” promise in his radio commercials.
“Bob Rohrman has been investing in Chicago radio for decades,” said Matt Scarano, Chairman of Illinois Broadcasters Association’s Radio Broadcasters of Chicagoland (RBC) Committee. “We are all so honored to be working with Mr. Rohrman on this project.” Scarano added, “Mr. Rohrman’s long-term radio strategy is a testament to the results radio delivers and the role our industry plays in building a powerful brand.”
