Before this deal was on the table, Bonneville only owned 14 stations in four markets: three in Seattle (market #13), three in Phoenix (market #14), four in Denver (market #19), and four in Salt Lake City (market #29).
In this deal, Bonneville will add eight more stations: four in San Francisco and four in Sacramento, bulking up to 22. Bonneville will LMA four CBS stations in Sacramento (market #29), and three Entercom stations and one CBS station in San Francisco (market #4). Here are all the details…
Here’s what Bonneville is getting:
In San Francisco
Top 40 KMVQ-FM from CBS
Urban Adult Contemporary KBLX-FM from Entercom
Adult Contemporary KOIT-FM from Entercom
Classic Rock KUFX-FM from Entercom
In Sacramento
Sports Radio KHTK-AM from CBS
Country KNCI-FM from CBS
AC KYMX-FM from CBS
Hot AC KZZO-FM from CBS
Bonneville President Darrell Brown said, “Bonneville is honored to have been selected by Entercom and approved by the Department of Justice to operate and program these stations. We are excited to associate with such wonderful brands in these great markets, and to have the opportunity to work with the talented employees at these stations.”
The LMAs become effective upon the closing of the Entercom and CBS Radio merger.
