A leadership change at Lotus Seattle’s Northwest Newsradio 97.7/1000 (KNWN-AM) comes with a new look for its newsroom. Jeff Pohjola is the new Director of News and Programming, while several members of its news and programming staff take on new roles.
Scott Carty joins Aaron Wright in afternoon drive, and Eric Heintz becomes Morning Editor and Sports. KVI-AM Program Director Kevin Dodrill adds Assistant Program Director duties for Northwest Newsradio, and Austin Smith has been promoted to Production Director while continuing as a KNWN contributor.
Northwest Newsradio’s middays will now include Bloomberg’s Balance of Power, Bloomberg Businessweek Daily, and The Ramsey Show.
On Talk Radio 570 KVI, The Ari Hoffman Show moves to weekday mornings, with Zach Wildfang returning as executive producer of KVI mornings while continuing as Digital Content Manager for the Seattle cluster. The new KVI lineup continues with Markley, Van Camp and Robbins, The Dan Bongino Show, The Lars Larson Show, The Mark Levin Show, and The Brian Kilmeade Show.
The new weekday schedules for both stations begin Monday, October 5.
