NAB is now accepting proposals for its Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference at NAB Show 2027, inviting industry professionals and students to have their work in the radio technology space considered for presentation in Las Vegas next spring.
Submissions should fall under at least one of BEIT’s focus areas, including analytics and measurement, audio and video technology, artificial intelligence, broadcast radio, broadcast television, cybersecurity, facility design, media workflows, positioning, navigation and timing using terrestrial broadcasting, regulatory issues, streaming media, transmission and RF systems, and workforce training and knowledge transfer.
Selected papers will be published in the Proceedings of the 2027 NAB BEIT Conference in April.
Proposals must be submitted online by October 23, and accepted presenters will be notified by December 15. NAB says submissions promoting specific company products or services will not be accepted.
In partnership with the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, NAB is also accepting student papers from graduate and undergraduate students age 18 and older, reviewed alongside professional submissions. The top student paper will be presented at the BEIT Conference and published in the Proceedings, with its author recognized during the BEIT Opening Session at NAB Show 2027 and given travel assistance.
Student submissions are due by the same October 23 deadline via the NAB BEIT Conference Student Paper Submission Portal.
