Happy Friday! This week’s Blast From The Past comes from the Radio Ink archives, featuring Guy Phillips on the air in 1972 at KRWG on the campus of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
After graduation, he would get his first professional radio job in Texas. He later worked mornings at XEROK in Mexico and KYNO in Fresno, then spent 38 years at KYKY in St. Louis before working at KTRS until his retirement in 2020.
