(By Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti) Last week, I had the honor of presenting the 24th Radio Wayne Awards at the Radio Show in Nashville. It was both an inspiring and humbling opportunity and a role I recently assumed as part of my duties as Radio Ink’s publisher.

At the Radio Show in Orlando next week, Matt Cowper's name will be announced following the Advertiser Breakfast, Thursday morning. Matt is a Radio Ink Radio Wayne finalist in the Stu Olds National Sales Manager category. The Beasley Media VP, based in Philadelphia, oversees Tampa, Vegas, Fort Myers, North Jersey, Boston, Fayetteville, Charlotte, Augusta, Detroit, and Boca.

Darrell Calton is quite a storyteller, as you will soon find out. He's also a finalist for a Radio Ink Radio Wayne Award, which will be given out at the Radio Show in Nashville later this month. He is the C.E.O. and Market Manager for Impact Radio in Meridian, Idaho.

Katie Philippi is the Sales Manager for Alpha Media in Lincoln, NE. Last week, Katie took home the Radio Ink Radio Wayne award for top sales manager in the country at the Radio Show in Orlando. Katie tells Radio Ink she felt pure joy when she heard her name called by Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti.

Julie Judge is the National Sales Manager for Hubbard Radio in Seattle. Last week at The Radio Show, Julie's name was called by Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti as the 2018 Radio Wayne Award winner in the NSM category. She tells Radio Ink that when she heard her name called, "It was an awesome feeling of elation, excitement, and pride all at the same time."
