iHeartMedia has signed a co-production and distribution agreement partnership with Pushkin Industries, the audio production company co-founded by Malcolm Gladwell and Jacob Weisberg.

NEW: Two Larry’s And A Mic

Former Roanoke host Larry Dowdy and his old radio friend Larry Bly, who worked for 47 years at WLNI-FM in Lynchburg have gotten together for a new podcast called Two Larry's and a Mic. The Roanoke Times describes the show as "two old radio guys having fun and cutting up a little." LISTEN

Lisa Orkin Launches a Podcast

Yes that Lisa Orkin, the late Dick Orkin's daughter. She tells Radio Ink she's been busy taking everything she learned from her dad to create a fully scripted comedy podcast called, Lisa Upside Down. It was launched Thursday with three episodes. LISTEN

SummitMedia Jumps Into The Podcasting Pool

The radio company with 47 stations in 9 states announced Tuesday it was investing in L.A. based podcast network CurtCo Media. While many other radio companies have been trying to make money podcasting for years this is the first alliance in the space for Summit.
