Brown worked mornings for KJR-AM and KUBE-FM in Seattle. He died on May 11 from complications related to Parkinson’s disease at the age of 74. 

Cataldi Staying With WIP In Philly

Angelo Cataldi has renewed his contract as morning host at Entercom's SportsRadio 94WIP in Philadelphia. He's been hosting mornings on the station for 27 years and has been near the top of Radio Ink's Best Local Sports Talkers in America list since it was created six years ago. (Our 2017 list comes out December 18.)

Ron Hughley is joining Entercom Houston, teaming up with Clint Stoerner in the afternoon drive slot, weekdays from 2-6pm on SportsRadio 610. Hughley was most recently the midday host at Entercom's 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City.

iHeartMedia Providence Rocker 94 HJY will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of “The Paul and Al Morning Show” on July 15. During the celebration a compilation of show highlights throughout the three decades will air. 

KJLH’s Cliff Winston Passes

Winston had two tours of duty at KJLH Radio in Los Angeles as PD and Morning Man. His initial tour began in 1985 thru 1990, he resumed his air shift at KJLH in 1993 and PD duties in 1994. The L.A. native began his radio career in college and went on to work in Seattle at KYAC, St. Louis at KMJM-FM, Chicago (WBMX), Detroit (WDRQ-FM) and KRLY in Houston.

2020 will be the 50th season for Bob Uecker calling Milwaukee Brewers games on the radio. He started back in 1971. Uecker is at increased risk for COVID-19 because he's 86 with some health issues.

Rock station WFXH in Savannah-Hilton Head adds the syndicated morning show 2 Guys Named Chris, replacing Lex and Terry. VP/GM Gigi South said it's all about the sale. “The ability to drive sales is one of the things we find extremely appealing about the show."
