South Florida radio fans will remember George “Jorge” Rodriguez, the producer for WQAM-AM host Neil Rogers. Rodriguez passed away Friday morning, according to his daughter. Rodriguez had been keeping the memory of Rogers alive for years with a Neil Rogers Facebook page.

Entercom has expanded the Board of Directors to eleven with the addition of Monique Nelson. Nelson currently serves as the Chair/CEO of UniWorld Group, a multicultural advertising and marketing agency.

Steve Palec is retiring from Hometown Rock 96.5 WKLH. His final Rock N' Roll Roots program airs Sunday April 18.

Don Pollnow is the new VP/Market Manager for Cumulus' six-station group in Green Bay. Pollnow joins Cumulus from LM Communications in Lexington, where he was NSM. Prior to that, he held GM positions with NRG Media in Wausau/Stevens Point and Renda in Oklahoma City.

Last week, Radio Ink reported that Bob Lawrence would be departing 7 Mountains Media for a new, unknown position. That role has been revealed as Market Manager for MacDonald Broadcasting’s Saginaw-based cluster of radio and digital properties.

Bob Levy (pictured), morning host for News Talk Radio WOBM-AM, will step down from the Bob & Marianne in the Morning show after 18 years. Levy has been with WOBM since its inception in 1968. Levy will remain host of Topic A on WOBM-AM and FM, a show he's hosted for 36 years every Sunday.

It’s a homecoming on the Wisconsin airwaves for Jesse Garon, who has rejoined Magnum Media’s 107.3 WSJY in Madison as midday host. Garon began his radio career with Magnum in 2013 before spending nearly a decade with Audacy Madison starting in 2015.

Lee Siegfried, known to many as Crazy Cabbie from his days on Howard Stern's syndicated radio show, has passed away at 55. His death was confirmed by fellow Minnesota native and air talent Cane Peterson, who shared the news on Facebook on March 31.

Actor, director and educator LeVar Burton will receive the first-ever Insight Award from the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) during the NAB Show Welcome on April 25 in Las Vegas. The award is in recognition of his extraordinary contributions to broadcasting, history and American culture.
