Family Life Radio's recent "Ultimate Baby Shower" campaign resulted in donations of more than 37,000 baby-related items, including diapers, strollers, and car seats for families in need. The event was held at stations across Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, and Texas.

Radio transmitter systems and enterprise media management software provider Broadcast Electronics has been acquired from ELENOS S.r.l. of Italy by a new ownership group led by CEO Rich Redmond and majority investor The Alzana Group.

Effective April 10, an FM translator carrying an AM station can be located so that the translator’s 60 dBμ contour is contained within either the AM station’s 2 mV/m contour or a 25-mile radius from the FM transmitter site giving, in particular, AM stations with highly directional patterns or small service areas greater flexibility, and often greater coverage, from an FM translator.
