More Honors For Our Boss

The President of the Radio, TV & Podcasting Divisions of Streamline Publishing, Deborah Parenti, is picking up another honor from the Dayton Area Broadcasters. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Deborah at their next Hall of Fame event. She's already a member of the Dayton Broadcasters Hall of Fame.

Elvin Fluellen takes over as Market Manager for Cumulus' 5-station cluster in Macon. Fluellen rejoins Cumulus Macon from CMG in Jacksonville where he was an AE. He replaces Bill West who retired.

Fully Vaccinated Host in Hospital With COVID

Popular long-time Orlando host Russ Rollins from iHeartMedia's Monsters in The Morning on WTKS-FM has been hospitalized with COVID after having to cut his vacation short when he started having breathing problems. Rollins is fully vaccinated and had been working from home.

The Spanish Voice of The Dodgers Retiring

Jaime Jarrín, the Spanish-language radio voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Tuesday that he's retiring after the 2022 season. It will be his 64th season with the Dodgers.

Lotus Closes on Four Seattle Stations

Lotus now officially owns News Radio KOMO-AM & FM, KPLZ-FM, and Talk Radio KVI 570-AM. The $18 million purchase of the stations from Sinclair was announced back in June. Richard Foreman Associates was the exclusive broker representing Sinclair.

Garabedian Sells To Chessare

Codcomm, owned by John Garabedian, is selling his seven Cape Cod radio stations to Steve Chessare's Coxswain Communications for $3.2 million. KALIL & CO. was the exclusive broker for this deal.
