This may be nothing more than a negotiating ploy by The Writers Guild of America on behalf of workers at 1010 WINS and WCBS-FM. The New York Daily News is reporting that Entercom wants to "cross-utilize" talent and one 1010 WINS editor is quoted in the story saying Entercom plans to fire staffers, "in essence making it one newsroom."

 Terry Foster Retires

The co-host of Valenti and Foster on WXYT-FM/97.1 The Ticket, Detroit, has retired from the station. Foster suffered a stroke and was on medical leave for much of the second half of 2016. He returned to the show in January but has now decided to refocus his time on his health and his family.

WJTL-FM host Phil Smith is facing multiple charges, including rape, after being arrested by the Lancaster City Police Department. Smith was arrested last week for sexual offenses committed between 2013-2017.
