Salem Media Group's Life Audio Podcast Network has signed Amanda Carroll. She is a nationally syndicated talent and founder of the "Get Your Brave On" podcast and digital platform.

Jessica Sherman returns as Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Content. Sherman, who is exiting CBS Radio News, is expanding her previous role as AdLarge’s Senior Director of Affiliate Marketing, which she held from 2014 to 2017.

Audacy has named Spike Eskin VP of Programming for WFAN in New York City. Eskin moves to The Big Apple from Philadelphia where he was PD for SportsRadio WIP. He'll take over for Mark Chernoff on July 1st.

The Dave Ramsey Show, which airs on more than 600 stations across the country, is being recognized by Apple as the fifth most-downloaded podcast of 2018. Ramsey Media Senior Vice President Brian Mayfield says those numbers are significant.

After a radio career spanning four decades, Bob Benson died on Sunday, January 29. He was 74. Benson got his start in radio in high school and spent many years of his career with ABC.

Jay takes over programming duties of the country outlet as of Monday. He replaces Ed Hill who exited in April of 2015 and Carey Curelop. Curelop remains on as Vice President/Programming of CBS Seattle and Program Director of 102.5 KZOK-FM, 96.5 JACK-FM and 1090 KFNQ-AM.

Last week, iHeartMedia’s The Bobby Bones Show celebrated its fifth-annual Joy Week. From October 8-11, Bones’ show encouraged listeners to choose joy, spread happiness, and do good things for others with a week of live studio performances by Country music stars. 

Robert Feder is reporting that Cumulus cut at least six jobs at its Chicago cluster this past Friday. He reports that the employees let go included traffic reporters Jen DeSalvo, Christina Filiaggi, JoAnn Genette and Marti Jones. Scott Dirks, just a few weeks short of 20 years at WLS, was also fired according to Feder.
