Audioboom Triton Deal is Off

Audioboom is in trouble. Back in February it was announced that Audioboom would be purchasing Triton Digital Canada, the parent company of Triton Digital for $185 million in a reverse takeover. Due to insufficient funds that deal is off and Audioboom is in jeopardy of shutting down.

Retail was a strong category for radio last week. The Home Depot held onto its top spot in the Media Monitors advertiser chart, airing 60,995 commercials on radio stations all over the country. JC Penney jumped over GEICO into the number two spot by running 31,700 commercials to GEICO's 31,312. Macy's moved from 17th to 4th with 29,565 spots.
