Rock 105.3 FM, iHeart San Diego, morning show hosts will be part of a Virtual Happy Hour today. The station is teaming up with a local craft-tequila brand and a local restaurant chain for the Facebook Live event to benefit displaced food and beverage workers.

The Show Hosts Eddie Pappani and Emily Griffiths will team up with bartender and Beverage Director for the Empress Family of Restaurants, Samuel Porteus as he shows viewers how to make the perfect margarita.

“Since we can’t hang-out with our ‘P1 Listeners’ face-to-face like we normally do, we thought this is the next best way to spend time together,” said Pappani. “We’re grateful to CaliFino Tequila for helping make our Virtual Happy Hour work. It should be fun.”

CaliFino Tequila will provide the “spirits” for the event with ten percent of the sales in April going to the Employee Relief Fund, benefiting local food and beverage industry workers impacted by the virus caused shutdowns.
