Kansas City area listeners will soon be able to tune in to Russian programming six hours per day. The programming is a result of a lease deal between RM Broadcasting, Alpine Broadcasting in Kansas City, and Radio Sputnik.

RM Broadcasting is based in Florida and run by Arnold Ferolito, who has been required to register as a Russian agent by the U.S. government. The Kansas City Star reports that RM has agreements to broadcast Radio Sputnik and will lease airtime with Alpine Broadcasting which has three frequencies in the Kansas City area: KCXL 1140 AM, 102.9 FM and 104.7 FM.
