Entries Open For Radio Mercury Awards

As of Tuesday, January 14, the window for entries for the 29th Radio Mercury Awards is officially open. For 2020, the Awards has added several new prize categories. One new category — entitled Multicultural Radio Spot Campaign — is meant for specific market consumer segments, including, but not limited to, Hispanic, African-American, LGBTQ+, Asian, and People with Disabilities. There will also be one additional prize each for the Radio Commercial, Radio Campaign, and Station-Produced Radio Commercial categories.

In collaboration with the Radio Mercury Awards, Chief Judge Robin Fitzgerald and BBDO Atlanta launched “Radio Makes the Best Stories” for the Call for Entry campaign. The social campaign is a series of audio stories from creatives sharing some of their most memorable behind-the-scenes career experiences.

Finalists for the Awards will be announced in early May. Winners will be announced at the 2020 Radio Mercury Awards event on June 4 at SONY HALL in New York City.
