Matthews Makes DC Move With iHeart

Dustin Matthews has been named Director of Rock Programming for Classic Rock station WBIG-FM/Washington, DC, and Alternative Rock station WWDC-FM, also in the nation’s capital.

Matthews makes the move from iHeartMedia Charlotte where he most recently served as PD and afternoon drive host for WEND-FM. He also served as Director of Alternative Rock Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis. Matthews has held programming roles for various stations, including ALT 104.9 in St. Louis, ALT 106.3 in Des Moines, WRXL-FM in Richmond, VA, and WFNX-FM in Boston. He began his career at WIMZ-FM in Knoxville.
