Carla Wohl is the new Senior Vice President of Development for Southern California Public Radio.

Wohl spent the last decade working in higher education as Associate Dean of External Relations at the USC Rossier School of Education and was previously an Assistant Dean of External Affairs at the UCLA School of Public Health. Prior to that, she spent nearly 30 years as a journalist. She was a west coast correspondent for ABC News and contributed reports to PBS’s Nova Science Now; worked as a correspondent/host for the news magazine shows Real Life and The Crusaders; and reported for several local news stations.

“As we look to further expand the journalistic capabilities of SCPR in this digital and on-demand world, the addition of Carla to our leadership team is a vital piece of that puzzle,” said Herb Scannell, CEO, Southern California Public Radio. “Carla brings to SCPR a remarkable development background, and her robust experience as a journalist and storyteller make her a natural fit for our team.”
